El Programa de Exploración Artística de LCCC ofrece clases de arte mensuales a estudiantes de 1.º a 6.º grado del norte del condado de Lincoln, beneficiando a casi 700 niños durante todo el año escolar. ¡Al reservar asientos reclinables en el Teatro Bijou en diciembre, estará apoyando las clases de arte para nuestros
jóvenes!

Lincoln County School District
Oceanlake Elementary students are allowed to wear costumes, however our focus is on learning and costumes that if a costume becomes a distraction to instruction, students will be asked to remove the costume for the rest of the day. Below is a list of costume guidelines:
• The costume should not disrupt the learning environment.
• No masks and nothing that would make it difficult for school staff to identify the person.
• No weapons or replicas of weapons, weapon-like accessories, or sharp objects.
• Costumes may not be demeaning to any ethnic group, race, religion, nationality, disabilities, gender or individual at the school.
• Costumes may not depict gangs, terrorist organizations, horror characters, graphic violence, any type of blood or gore, or be scary in nature.
• Costumes may not show obscene materials or prohibited substances or offensive language.
• Do not wear costumes that are disruptive due to great size, flashing lights, or sounds (ex: inflatable costumes).
• Costumes should be tasteful. Underclothing, lingerie, swimsuits and anything that does not sufficiently cover a student’s body is not appropriate.
• Costumes must not impair a student’s vision or movement or prevent students from dressing out for P.E.
