Oceanlake Elementary was thrilled to celebrate the Taft Seniors during the annual Cap & Gown parade this morning. These amazing seniors are already making a positive impact on the world by being role models for our little Tigers! Congratulations, Class of 2026! #GrowingUpTiger
The week ended with a gym filled with proud families and another amazing concert—this time from our 2nd Graders! Great job, Tigers!

Registration for LCSD summer learning is now open to all students in Kindergarten (students who will be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2026 and plan to attend LCSD Kindergarten in the fall) through 5th grade.

Oceanlake Tigers were future-focused last week!
Our little Tigers loved welcoming Taft 7-12 seniors, who answered questions and served as amazing role models. We also hosted our 2nd Annual Career Parade, where community members from a wide range of professions shared about their work and inspired our students.
It was a busy week, but “Growing Up Tiger” is easy when we have strong community partnerships supporting our little Tigers’ learning!

Nuestros pequeños Tigres disfrutaron recibir a los estudiantes de último año de Taft 7-12, quienes respondieron preguntas y fueron excelentes modelos a seguir. También llevamos a cabo nuestro 2.º Desfile Anual de Carreras, donde miembros de la comunidad de una amplia variedad de profesiones compartieron sobre su trabajo e inspiraron a nuestros estudiantes.
